Stitch & Zip Travel Kit - In Person x 3 Sessions (SLC-MC4) Wednesday's October 2024

Join us in-person at the Janome Sewing & Learning Centre for a series of 3 classes. Together we’ll be making ‘Stitch & Zip’ travel kits. A perfect way to keep all your sewing supplies and tools organized when you’re on the go. With various pockets and dividers, you can fit so much into the kit’s relatively slim profile. Learn how to install zippers, clear vinyl panels, elastic pockets, and more!  

No need to bring your machine! Each participant will be set up at one of our flagship models, the Janome Continental M17, to create these custom travel kits. This project utilizes accessories like the HP2 foot, ultra glide foot, + more!  

 Please bring: 

2 yards quilting cotton total -  made up of 3 or more coordinating fabrics is recommended (this project is fat quarter friendly) * 

(2) 10” #3 plastic coil zippers - match the zipper colour to your fabric 

32” plastic coil zipper (we have a good collection of colours on hand) 

(1) button 3/4” - 1” size

Fabric scissors 

Your own lunch 

Anything else you may need 

We will provide everything else!  

Please note: you will receive cutting instructions via email, to be completed before the class. This way we can save time and start sewing immediately!
